Instructor Helps
This unit may be used in conjunction with several different
types of classes. It would fit in a course on the history of the
ancient Near East or Old Testament class, as it discusses the
history of ancient Moab. It would also be useful for an
archaeology course in illustrating the settlement pattern
approach and surface survey methods. It could also fit into a
general history course. College is the time when students begin
to discover that history must be reconstructed from various data
sources, and this unit would allow the students to explore one
particular type of data available.
